I am in need of some options cause the deal for my Mach 1 fell through today cause they did a huge low ball on my car.

help me out!

Really looking for say like

Ford:

SVT Cobra 1999-2004

Mach 1 2003-04

Mustang GT 2007-12

Chevy:

1999-present Corvette

also needs to be in the STL or Springfield Missouri area.

EDIT: Price range: needs to be in the $13k~ ish range...my car is only worth kike 9k-10k so I need like a 3k difference

What's your Budget?

I can't find you a specific car, but I suggest trying to maybe find a Pontiac GTO?

Or a Firebird WS6?

Both are in your budget and have 95% the same drivetrain as the Corvette.

The Corvette isn't 4 Seats, BTW. They're only 2 seaters.

I miss Pontiac the most for the fact that they were our way to get some of the awesome Aussie muscle cars. I just wish this made it to production and came state side.

yeah unfortunately you have to settle for the 4 door.

And to be honest, it's kind of even MORE aussie to have a 4 door.

V8 Super Cars are all 4 door set ups.

So you're telling me your father would pitch in on a 99 and up Corvette but a GTO?

It's a 4 seater (on your wish list, honestly it might be a "5") and has the same engine/trans as the Vette.

If your father can't see past the Pontiac Arrowhead on it, I think he's a really uninformed car buyer. (trying hard to be respectful).

This is like saying you shouldn't buy a used Mercury Milan (which I own) because the brand is dead. But it's a Ford Fusion underneath so..... perfectly good boring commuter car.

We owned a at the time new grand AM and it just fell apart of us. thats why but he was going to give a G8 GT a go but that was before he got a job transfer and got a company car. but personally I like the G8, though I would like a coupe

Which is where the GTO comes in.

The grand am was nothing special. The GTO is magnificent, and a coupe.

You're of course welcome to buy whatever you like and shop whatever you want to shop. Mustangs are great too! I just the GTO is much cooler, I like weird not the popular car. (key being the crazy guy who bought a 68 Mercury Montego for his classic Muscle Car)
